[EN · Round 1 review] Our Monte Carlo is an apartment where two languages meet. The Italian one, from our family — the Murano chandelier at the centre of the ceiling, the embroidered fabrics, the taste for detail. And the Riviera one, with Mediterranean light pouring through the windows and a small wrought-iron balcony overlooking the Principality.
[EN · Round 1 review] It is a house that welcomes without raising its voice. Warm surfaces, walnut herringbone floors, red threaded through more than one room like a recurring note. Every piece of furniture was chosen, every print hung for a reason. This is not a standard rental — it is our version of Monte Carlo, for those who want to feel it without the sterile polish of new buildings.

[EN · Round 1 review] At the centre of the dining room hangs a Murano chandelier — hand-blown glass, flower petals, a Venetian signature in the heart of the Principality. It is the first object you notice when you walk in, and the one you gather around for dinner. A small piece of Italy that we wanted here.

[EN · Round 1 review] A red bistro table, two iron chairs, a few lush plants. The balcony is small — barely a square metre — but enough for morning coffee, an aperitif at sunset, an afternoon pause. It is the place from which Monte Carlo can be taken in without hurry.

[EN · Round 1 review] White, steel, with a Miele oven we chose ourselves. It is not a chef's kitchen — it is a family kitchen, the kind where pasta is made at noon, a bottle is opened, and people talk. The Côte d'Azur light comes through the window and fills everything.

“Valentina e suo marito Nicola sono stati ottimi host. Sono stati estremamente disponibili e si sono interessati alla nostra opinione. L'appartamento è molto ben arredato e sembra una vera casa. Ci siamo confusi con i diversi ascensori quando siamo arrivati per la prima volta all'appartamento, ma abbiamo scoperto in seguito che raggiungere il porto turistico era decisamente più facile del previsto! Molto comodo per il centro città.”
“Meraviglioso soggiorno a Monaco a casa di Valentina. Prenotazione last minute per un viaggio e check-in facile, con possibilità di lasciare i bagagli in anticipo. Ottima posizione, e consiglio vivamente l'uso degli impianti di risalita pubblici. Uno vicino alla casa ti porta direttamente a Sainte Devote, e il casinò è una piacevole passeggiata in discesa. Tornerei qui di nuovo.”
“Era il posto perfetto per il nostro soggiorno. Il miglior host — la scelta giusta a Monaco. L'autobus numero 2 è vicinissimo all'appartamento e con l'app Moovit puoi raggiungere ovunque tu voglia. Assolutamente fantastico, i miei genitori l'hanno adorato.”
“Il mio soggiorno da Valentina è stato fantastico! Mi sono sentita a casa. Ha avuto il tempo di inviarmi pazientemente delle indicazioni video dalla stazione ferroviaria in modo da non perdermi. Il letto e il cuscino erano così morbidi che ho dormito come un bambino — uno dei letti migliori che abbia mai provato. Un sacco di spazio, appartamento fatto con molto gusto, con incredibili opere d'arte e libri d'arte. Cucina attrezzata: sono riuscita a preparare pasti indiani sontuosi senza problemi. Consiglio vivamente l'appartamento di Valentina, ancora meglio se siete in 4! Vorrei tornare di nuovo.”
